A grand opening of the showroom and office of Austrian furniture fittings concern Grass was held in mid-November 2018 at Moscow Omega-2 business centre (located near Roomer furniture mall). The event was attended by chief sales & marketing officer of the company Albert Trebo, head of the exports office Andreas Vogel, door hinge lead manager Kai Bordam, and head of regional sales in Russia Olga Donhauser.
Together they cut the green ribbon and opened the showroom. The executives of Russian furniture factories, retailers and designers joined the company for celebration.
The salon contains 160 sq. m of exhibition space. It has a presentation zone, exhibition stands showing all company’s product collections, and a working space for Grass professionals to negotiate with customers.
“We are sure that quality and high-end products are greatly in demand in Russia,” says Trebo. “As a matter of fact, we need a Moscow showroom to state our serious intentions towards the Russian market. Next year we are planning on extending our team in the Moscow office.”
Moscow showroom is to embrace regular events for designers and partners of the company, as well as become the platform for learning about using the products. Besides the exhibition stands, Grass has also made demonstration models to explain how to install its fittings.
“Grass primary goal in Russia is to become a leader in the niche segments. Consumers are expecting the companies to provide them with tailor-made solutions. And our product range is wide enough to meet the needs of the most exquisite clients,” explains Trebo.
“This year the number of our visitors at Moscow Mebel fair has doubled comparing to last year”, says Donhauser. “We have seen considerable interest in the company’s new products, such as tailored hinges, and perfectly equipped pull-out systems. Our company sees Russian market as a promising segment and plans to evolve in it.”
