They sacrificed a lovely golf field, the emblem of Interprint Rus. It was gone for good last summer. However, its place was taken by the new signature facility, an engraving shop. It took six months to erect the building, install the equipment and launch them altogether.

“Initiating the engraving facility is a paramount event in our company,” says Aleksey Mezenev, commercial director at Interprint RUS. “This department has dramatically enhanced our services, as now our customers can have any decor from the Interprint library shortly after placing the order. Our delivery time has significantly reduced. Before that, we would wait for a couple of weeks until the printing rolls arrived from Germany. Now the decor is sent to print within 10-12 hours from receiving the order.”

Building an engraving shop on the premises of the Moscow-region industrial site was the initiative of the company. Сolleagues from Arnsberg reviewed and approved the project, and then Russian office made all the arrangements.

“We contributed our own funds to the equipment,” explains Mezenev. “However these are the long investments, we believe they will pay off. In the business plan, our talents calculated the number of new decors we can introduce to the market, and there are dozens of them! I am happy to say that, the calculations proved right. And by spring 2018 the new shop has been working at full capacity.”

Furniture and wood-based panels manufacturers have already adopted using the unique decor solutions, thus the new Interprint service is very modern, and very client-focused.

“The engraving shop became the last step leading us to independency in terms of technologies,” states Aleksey Mezenov. “So, the only thing we now receive from the German office is ready decor files.”

“Our company got a great advantage after launching the new shop. Now it can dramatically expand our warehouse product collection. We used to have only the most popular and highly promoted goods in our warehouses. And now we are storing new products along with the sales hits. What profit can it bring to furnishing and panel producers? Firstly, it provides a wider choice and an opportunity to quickly change old collections to the brand new ones. Secondly, it allows fast delivery of required amount of decors, which is crucial for any industrial enterprise. Having goods in store is the best protection against any logistic losses.”

The current Interprint RUS logistic program is expected to last for two years, as it is the exact time for the new decors to prove successful on the market. The interzum fair is to see the company’s fresh goods in 2019, while in 2020 Interprint is planning to present another collection exclusively for Russian clients.
